When Argentina beat Germany in the FIFA World Cup final on Sunday, stars like Mammootty and Mohanlal of Malayalam took the lead in the celebrations. The two titans of Malayalam cinema attended Sunday night's game between Argentina and France at the stadium in Qatar.
After a 3-3 tie, Argentina won the World Cup in a penalty shootout against France. The game was one of the wildest finals in FIFA history, and the who's who of Malayalam cinema showed their appreciation by paying tribute to both teams.

Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan, two of Bollywood's biggest stars, used the biggest sporting event to promote their new film, Pathaan.
