Geeta Sone from Chhattisgarh has been selected as one of the finalists for the 2024 Mrs. India beauty pageant organized by the Glamanand Group. Hailing from Panna, Geeta is currently based in Durg. This highly qualified entrepreneur holds a degree in fashion designing, a master degree in education and a PhD in Sociology. Her hobbies and areas of interest include cooking and dancing. Geeta had won Miss Chhattisgarh title in the past and had also won a national level beauty pageant. She can speak 2 languages including Hindi and English. In this exclusive interview with the Beauty High magazine, she talks about her preparations for the Mrs. India 2024 beauty pageant and her journey so far.
Q. Many congratulations to you for getting selected for the national finals of Mrs. India 2024 competition. How does it feel? What were the first thoughts that crossed your mind when you got the news that you have gotten selected to compete at the 2024 Mrs. India contest?
Answer: Thank you very much. This feeling is unique, it can be understood that the dream I have been seeing for a long time has come true today. When I came to know about my selection (for Mrs. India 2024 contest), the first thought that came to my mind was how I would look in that crown made for me because now I have to work much harder to achieve it.
Q. Tell us more about the place you belong to.
Answer: The name of my state, which is called the land of rice bowls, is Chhattisgarh. Here are beautiful mountains, temples, rivers, and shimmering rice fields. It is surrounded by various natural caves (Kotumsar), biodiversity, and diverse forests, and our revered Lord Rama's abode. The world's oldest theater is the cave of Sita Bengra. My city is famous worldwide as Bhilai Steel City.
Q. Please take us through the significant milestones in your life and how they have shaped you as the person you are today.
Answer: I have always considered myself as the milestone in my life. I am a personality who has never understood herself. I want to do a lot, but I can't understand why I am so afraid of moving forward. But thank God that he has given me such lovely and wise children. My daughter is my strength; that girl made a lot of efforts to introduce me to myself, because of which today I stand here in front of all of you. Her words and thoughts have worked as milestones in my life.
Q. What are your hobbies and areas of interests, and how do you manage them with the responsibilities that you shoulder?
Answer: Making different types of nutritious foods, working out to keep fit, dancing, I love all of these. Enjoying good dishes at good places, wearing different styles of clothes every day, and designing clothes for myself and my family members, I enjoy all of these. Spending time with children is what I like the most. In all my responsibilities, I always get the support and cooperation of my children and family, due to which I have never faced any conflicts or difficulties in balancing responsibilities and interests.
Q. Please tell us about your family and the role they play in your life
Answer: My small family, in which my dear son, who loves his mother very much, also takes very good care of her. I have a sensible daughter who understands her mother and also explains to her. She is pursuing her MBA. My husband is a police officer (DSP). My family understands me and always stands by me in every situation.
Q. Balancing personal, professional, and family responsibilities can be challenging. How do you manage this delicate balance in your life?
Answer: My family always supports me. Just as I take care of their happiness in every situation, they also never lag behind in taking care of me, which keeps my mental balance intact, and I am able to fulfill all my responsibilities well, whether personal or professional.
Q. What the most crucial piece of advice that you would like to share with the women of this era?
Answer: The women of this era are quite sensible compared to the women of our era. There is no need to tell them anything or explain to them. Just like I still learn a lot from my daughter. Yet there is one thing we have, which is experience. Whatever teachings we give to the women of this era, our children, and descendants, we give based on our experiences. If those experiences are combined with today's generation, it can create an amazing fusion.

Answer: I would like to say to all my readers that always dream big dreams, work hard and honestly to achieve them, one day all your dreams will come true, and your loved ones, your family, will also be proud of you.
