Sanjana S from Tamil Nadu has been selected as one of the finalists for the 2024 Mrs. India beauty pageant organized by the Glamanand Group. Born and based in Chennai, Sanjana holds a degree in electronics and communication engineering and is currently working as a project management officer. She likes explore new places and try different cuisines. Sanjana can speak 2 languages including English and Tamil. In this exclusive interview with the Beauty High magazine, she talks about her preparations for the Mrs. India 2024 beauty pageant and her journey so far.
Q. Many congratulations to you for getting selected for the national finals of Mrs. India 2024 competition. How does it feel? What were the first thoughts that crossed your mind when you got the news that you have gotten selected to compete at the 2024 Mrs. India contest?
Answer: Thank you very much. Being a part of Mrs. India feels fantastic, and I can't wait to embark on this amazing journey. It greatly boosts my self-esteem and gives me the willpower to pursue and realize my dream.
Q. Tell us more about the place you belong to.
Answer: I'm from Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, which is renowned for its historical temples and rich cultural legacy. I was up in Chennai and have always loved and supported the environment wherever I have gone. Chennai is renowned for its mouthwatering culinary offerings.
Q. Please take us through the significant milestones in your life and how they have shaped you as the person you are today.
Answer: If I had to choose one significant milestone, I would say it was my first job, which taught me a lot about how to treat people and support one another in trying times. The fact that I could start providing for my family as soon as I completed my studies also filled me with pride. My second best accomplishment is getting married and raising a family today, after not being well-known to the world.
Q. What are your hobbies and areas of interests, and how do you manage them with the responsibilities that you shoulder?
Answer: As a food blogger who enjoys seeing new places and trying out different cuisines, one of my favorite pastimes is traveling to create food movies that inspire and maintain my interest.
Q. Please tell us about your family and the role they play in your life
Answer: I am married and have an 8-month-old baby girl. My family is my biggest strength. It's really uncommon to have your parents and spouse encourage you to pursue your passion and dreams after getting married and starting a family. Im glad I have a supporting parents and husband.
Q. Balancing personal, professional, and family responsibilities can be challenging. How do you manage this delicate balance in your life?
Answer: I concur that the work that women do every day is incredibly difficult. My ability to assist my family in all ways, however, is my greatest strength. You can accomplish anything in this world if your people support you.
Q. What is the most crucial piece of advice that you would like to share with the women of this era?
Answer: The most important piece of advice for all women in this century is that, after getting married and having children, many of them lose their identity and settle into a tiny group where they believe that taking care of the house and raising a child is all that is required. I really think that nothing is impossible, If one can manage work life, personal life, they can achieve their dream as well.
Q. Lastly, any message for the readers.
Answer: Cherish each moment since life is full of surprises. No arguments, no regrets. Even if someone is your adversary, spread love!
