Fans of Aamir Khan were relieved to see him "smiling" at the FIFA World Cup 2022 alongside his son Azad and ex-wife Kiran Rao following the disaster that was Laal Singh Chaddha.
Recently, Aamir Khan and his son Azad Rao Khan were spotted at the Mumbai airport. They were accompanied by Aamir's ex-wife, the director Kiran Rao. He apparently just got back from a vacation with the family. Now, the actor appears to have been in Qatar for the ongoing FIFA World Cup, as evidenced by a handful of photos and videos posted to his fan pages on social media.
Aamir, Kiran, and Azad are seen in a photo or video together in front of the Lusail stadium in Qatar. He passes his phone to a teammate so that they can take a group selfie. Azad, the actor's son, is wearing an Argentine jersey while his father is dressed in a beige t-shirt and black capris. Even Kiran was dressed casually. Aamir was also seen in some of the pictures giving selfies to his adoring fans.
Some of the actor's most devoted followers took to social media to express their delight at seeing him back in action as the photos began making the rounds online. "Smiling like before," one of them said of the snapshots.
Aamir Khan is a big fan of the sport of football. Not only does he enjoy taking in games, but he also enjoys getting on the field himself. Aamir Khan Productions, his production company, shared an Instagram video of him and his son Azad playing football in the rain earlier this year.
