Kamal Haasan is one of the most gifted and adaptable actors in the industry, renowned for his impressive acting chops and magnetic presence. It was reported on November 24 that the 68-year-old actor had been admitted to a hospital in Chennai due to his poor health.
The latest news indicated that the star was sick with a fever and was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. As per India Today, the Vikram star was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) in Chennai on November 23.
According to reports, he was admitted to the hospital for a routine checkup but later developed a high temperature. He had just gotten back from Hyderabad, where he was starring in a South Indian film.
After his initial treatment is complete, Kamal Haasan will return to the hospital for follow-up examinations. The medical staff at SRMC reportedly recommended that he take a few days off to rest and recover. The hunky actor should be released from the hospital soon.
Recent events, however, saw the Tamil superstar pay a visit to Hyderabad to pay homage to his master, the legendary director K Vishwanath. The photos and videos of their encounter are making a big splash online.
Kamal Haasan posted a photo of himself holding K Viswanath's hand as he bowed and apologized on social media. This is what he said about meeting K. Viswanath sir: "Met the master at his home. Tons of sentimentality and esteem."
