Q. Many congratulations to you for getting selected for the national finals of Mrs. India 2024 competition. How does it feel? What were the first thoughts that crossed your mind when you got the news that you have gotten selected to compete at the 2024 Mrs. India contest?
Answer: Thank you so much for your warm wishes. Being selected for the national finals of Mrs. India 2024 is an absolute honor and a dream come true. The moment I received the news, a whirlwind of emotions swept through me—excitement, gratitude, and a deep sense of responsibility. Being a part of Glamanand's Mrs India is both exhilarating and humbling. I am grateful for this opportunity to showcase not only my outer beauty but also the strength, resilience, and grace that define the modern Indian woman.
Q. Tell us more about the place you belong to.
Answer: My childhood memories are painted with the vibrant hues of Delhi - the bustling markets and the aroma of street food. This is the city that taught me resilience and the art of balancing chaos and calm and where I spent most of my childhood. I later went to Jaipur to pursue my graduation and spent 3 years in the land of Hawa Mahal and spicy pyaaz kachoris. Life led me back to Delhi when I started my career with an MNC in 2010 and stayed in and around the capital until 2018 and have been based out in Pune since 2019. Love knows no boundaries, and my marriage to a German is a testament to that and has opened doors to a new world. So, when asked about the place I belong to, I say: I belong to the world. My roots are in Delhi, my dreams in Jaipur, my love in Germany, and my spirit in every cobblestone street and sun-kissed vineyard. As a citizen of the world, I carry stories from every corner, and my heart resonates with the symphony of humanity.
Q. Please take us through the significant milestones in your life and how they have shaped you as the person you are today.
Answer: The most significant moment of my life to which I'm eternally grateful is when I became a mother for first time—not to a human child, but to my beloved Coco. As a pet parent, I learned the art of unconditional love—a love that doesn’t seek reciprocity but fills your heart with purpose. Coco opened my mind to the wonders of the world and became my travelling buddy. He showed me that every creature had a story, every heartbeat mattered. Love and compassion enveloped us; we just needed to open our hearts to welcome them in. Coco’s gentle gaze reminded me daily that kindness knows no boundaries and a key life value my daughter is now growing up with.
Q. What are your hobbies and areas of interests, and how do you manage them with the responsibilities that you shoulder?
Answer: I like to collect memories like seashells—each one unique, each leaving an everlasting impression. One of my most cherished memories are of my kids catching waves on the beach and playing in sand. I believe travelling and experiencing new cultures help us to evolve and widen one’s perspective. To me the world is my classroom, and every passport stamp is a lesson. As an advocate for responsible travel, I conscientiously strive to leave places as pristine or improved as I discovered them, making sustainable choices.
Q. Please tell us about your family and the role they play in your life
Answer: My family holds a special place in my heart and is a tapestry of Love and Connection. My Husband, is my partner in life’s grand adventure. He is the steady anchor, the one who shares my dreams, and the hand I hold during life’s storms. His unwavering support fuels my courage, and together, we build a sanctuary of love and respect. My children are my heart and their happiness and well being are the driving force that propels me forward in life and helps me strive to become a better version of myself.
Q. Balancing personal, professional, and family responsibilities can be challenging. How do you manage this delicate balance in your life?
Answer: Balancing different aspects of life can become chaotic at times; however, I feel very fortunate to be at a stage in life where I am content and happy, with the liberty to pursue my passion for becoming a beauty queen. For me, professional growth is crucial as it provides financial flexibility and helps me create my own identity. Being a mother is an equally demanding job. To deliver my best, I prioritize time management and stay mindful to adapt to the flow of life’s demands and striving for harmony rather than perfection.
Q. What the most crucial piece of advice that you would like to share with the women of this era?
Answer: One advice I’d share with every individual, is to embrace their unique journey. Don’t measure success by others’ standards but define it for yourself. Prioritize self-care and mental health, as they are the foundation of your strength. Be bold in your aspirations, resilient in the face of challenges, and compassionate towards yourself and others. Remember, your voice has power—use it to advocate for change and equality. In this era, where possibilities are endless, let your authenticity and inner wisdom guide you to make a positive impact and create a kinder and more accepting world.
Q. Lastly, any message for the readers.
Answer: As a country, we are progressing at an exponential pace in various fields and more opportunities are present now than ever before. As we move forward, we must show compassion to ourselves and extend the same courtesy to others, whether they are children, the elderly, or animals we encounter. I believe every living creature has a purpose; find yours and diligently work towards fulfilling it
