Fever is very common in a human being. It is the temperature that rises from a normal range, and as a result, you feel some changes in your body. Another term for Fever is pyrexia and controlled hyperthermia. When you have a fever you need medication and home treatment. Here are some facts to know about fever.
- Temperature between 100-104 F is normal and not harmful in children and adults.
- Fever is an indication that you will fall sick. It is a symptom, not a disease. It is a normal response if any foreign invader such as infection, bacteria, vaccination and, viruses. When the body is threatened with viruses, the brain aware of your body which acts to increase body temperature that your body is been attacked by foreign invaders which is not suitable for your body.
